Accessibility audits for EU and US websites
Manual WCAG 2.2 audits, clear fix guidance and full support until the fixes are done. For businesses that need to meet the European Accessibility Act (EAA) in Europe or the ADA and Section 508 in the United States.
Which rules apply to you?
European Union
The European Accessibility Act has applied since 28 June 2025. Online shops, booking services, banking, transport ticketing and many other services sold to EU consumers must be accessible. The technical standard is EN 301 549, which builds on WCAG.
- Audit against WCAG 2.2 AA and EN 301 549
- Accessibility statement drafted for your site
- Covers businesses outside the EU that sell to EU customers
United States
Websites and apps of US businesses are expected to be accessible under the ADA, and products sold to US government agencies must meet Section 508. Thousands of website accessibility lawsuits are filed every year, many against small businesses.
- Audit against WCAG 2.2 AA and Section 508
- VPAT / Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR) for software products
- Testing by a DHS Section 508 Trusted Tester
What you get
- Manual testing in a real environment. I test your key pages and user journeys (sign-up, search, checkout, forms) with screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack), keyboard only, zoom and colour contrast tools, not just an automated scan.
- A clear report. Every issue with a screenshot, who it affects, the WCAG success criterion, its priority and a suggested fix your developer can apply.
- Remediation support. Help for your designers and developers while they fix the issues, by email or video call.
- Re-test. I check the fixes and confirm what now passes.
- Compliance documents. An accessibility statement (EU) or a VPAT / ACR (US) when you need one.
Your design stays the same
Most accessibility fixes happen in the code: proper labels, headings, alt text, focus order and screen reader announcements. In most cases your website keeps its look and brand while becoming easier to use for everyone, including the many customers with disabilities and older visitors. A more usable site can help more visitors complete a purchase or contact you, and clean structure also helps search engines understand your pages.
